CHARLES MERDIAN , Controller, LGI Devleopment

Charles Merdian, CPA joined the company in July 2004 as controller.  Mr. Merdian is responsible for accounting and financial reporting for LGI Development, LGI Land, LGI Homes, and it’s other affiliated companies.

Prior to joining LGI, Mr. Merdian was an accounting and finance manager for The Woodlands Operating Company, L.P., developer of a 28,000-acre master planned community north of Houston, TX. While at The Woodlands, Mr. Merdian was responsible for the accounting and financial analysis for a variety of real estate projects including residential and commercial developments, country clubs and hotels. Previous to The Woodlands, Mr. Merdian served as an accounting manager with Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co. and as a senior auditor for Coopers & Lybrand, L.L.P. in Fort Worth, TX.

Mr. Merdian holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Texas Christian University. Mr. Merdian is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the TSCPA.
